Making Connections for African Women and Girls Project
Status of Women Canada has provided us with funding to help connect African women and girls who
have been impacted by violence, to programs and services that can meet their needs
At ACC, we believe that women and girls are empowered to improve their quality of life when they are
a) involved in the identification of needs and the development of solutions
b) educated about what programs and services are available to them
• We are working with African women and girls to identify their needs and barriers that may prevent them from accessing community supports.
• We are working with community agencies in London to make their services more accessible to African women and girls who have been impacted by violence.
How Can You Contribute to the Project?
Community Service Providers:
We want to work with you to improve access to your services for these women and girls.
